Middle East-Central America-Apache: Air Assault

Middle East-Central America-Apache: Air Assault

Apache: Air Assault is a flight-simulation games for Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms, released on November 16, 2010 by Activision Publishing.

Middle East-Central America-Apache: Air Assault campaign

Take to the skies in the lethal Apache AH-64 campaign in Middle East and Central America and rain down death from above using the latest in cutting edge military weapons technology. Fly attack, reconnaissance, escort and rescue missions deep behind enemy lines in missions around the world. Use laser-guided precision ground strikes and devastating rounds of explosive Hellfire missiles to take out high value strategic targets. Defend civilians from heavily armed pirates off the coast of Africa, hunt down terrorists in the mountains of central Asia, and take down enemy choppers in intense aerial combat over the jungles of Central America. When you think you've mastered the skies, prove it by taking your skills online in competitive multiplayer matches.
The game play is very tactical and I truly like the single screen coop. I think it truly brings two people together and makes it a life or death situation whereas, you must be able to rely on your gunner to get his job done and vice versa. If someone screws up, you will both be brought down, which I believe truly simulates the feeling of flying a copter in the military.

The graphics are pretty good, except I saw one of these copter guns in reallife where it literally turned a guy into a red smear on the ground, and the gun in reallife sounded more menacing then the one in the game. I have to say though that it would have been great to turn a insurgent into a red smear, but, whatever. The copter sound are very quiet, which is good and the ambience is also very significant.
I would def recommend Apache: Air Assault , but some may not like it because of it not being arcadey.
The game has a good mission structure like: escorts, protect forces, and so on. Also, offers single player free flight mode.

Flight Simulator Games Xbox 360 - Ace Combat 6

Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation

Ace Combat 6 is one of the best flight simulator games xbox 360

Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation was published by Namco in 2007.
In typical Ace Combat fashion, this title continues to push the envelop of visual realism in flight sim for Xbox 360.
If you have enjoyed previous Ace Combat games you will not be disappointed by Fires of Liberation. If you haven't ever played an Ace Combat this one is certainly a great place to enter the series.
While gameplay is solid as usual and missions vary in style and objective, one can't help but focus on the absolutely stunning visuals.

Ace Combat has always been known for great realism in its aircraft, but in this iteration the developer really put the focus on making the landscapes come to life. I have yet to play a flight sim that provides such an immersive experience as Ace Combat. The graphics overall are spectacular, naturally, and flying around on a big screen TV in high def is seriously fun stuff.

Hawx - Flying Games for Xbox 360

Hawk Xbox 360 reviews
Hawx is a flying games for Xbox 360 released on March 3, 2009 by Ubisoft. Hawx flying games for Xbox 360 is one of the best flying games for xbox 360.
Tom Clancy's Hawx is an Air combat game so if you are looking for a flight sim, this isn't it.
So, regarding to the gameplay:this game uses a level scheme to unlock new aircraft and weapons load outs. Ever kill and achieving certain feats gives the player experience. Luckily the levels come fast and new aircraft abound. The aircraft themselves are beautifully rendered. Most craft can hold several hundred missiles. This is a good thing since Hawx is a target rich environment and the player will be constantly tasked with prioritizing which targets to take down and in what order.
Since no one flys alone, the player has two wingmen who love to clutter the radio with chatter. They typically are talking about the plot and the mission, but will occasionally during a dog fight announce things an aware player had already seen a few minutes earlier. Not to say that the wingmen are useless, they just talk a lot. These wingmen can be given simple attack my target or defend me commands. My only real issue is that they seem to move at mach 10 whenever they feel like it and perform bizarre maneuvers to get back on you wing. While they will take down opponents if left to their own devices, it is best to take on important objectives yourself and let them cover your tail. Trying to fly an escort mission in an AV-8 makes a mission a challenge, where a Mig-29 makes it much simpler.
Hawx - Flying Games for Xbox 360: graphics. You will be flying over a variety of terrains and locations. Different times of day will skew color palettes, weather can affect visibility with clouds, and targets can be obscured by smoke. The terrain is incredibly detailed and looks wonderful even at close range...after you have unwittingly crashed your jet into it. Aircraft and missile contrails have that "puffy" look to them and flying into the sun is a great way to blind yourself.
Hawx - Flying Games for Xbox 360: Flight Mechanics. Even rookie pilots will quickly be flying low level and diving into "bandit" infested dog-fights. After several "training" missions which are used to introduce the player to the different aspects of the game the game introduces the "Limit OFF" system (or OFF) in which the game is played from a zoomed out third person perspective. This mode allows players to "slide" their aircraft around, effectively making them much more agile (makes dodging missiles easier too). I recommend using OFF mode for evading missiles and getting your nose around on your adversary and then going quickly back to regular view mode.
